Frequently asked questions
Is VaniVeda a language school or a coaching institute? +
VaniVeda is an online French language school and coaching institute. Rather than teaching French generally, every batch is built around a specific outcome — a DELF, TCF or TEF score — so lessons, homework and mock exams all point at the exam you’re actually sitting.
Is VaniVeda Language Hub the same as VaniVeda? +
Yes. “VaniVeda” and “VaniVeda Language Hub” are the same organization — the second is our full name on Instagram and YouTube (@vanivedalanguagehub) and in official records. Whichever name you found us under, you’re looking at the same online DELF, TCF and TEF coaching institute.
Where is VaniVeda located? +
VaniVeda is 100% online — there are no physical classroom locations. Candidates join live batches from anywhere in the world, including India, Canada, France, the UK, the UAE and Australia.
Is there a free demo? +
Yes. Every new candidate gets a 30-minute demo session with a trainer, including a short level check so we can recommend the right batch.
TCF vs TEF — what’s the difference? +
Both are accepted by IRCC for Canadian immigration. They differ in task format and how each section is scored, so one usually suits your profile better than the other. Our counsellors compare both against your reading speed, writing comfort and deadline.
What is TCF and what does it require? +
Test de Connaissance du Français, run by France Éducation internationale. For Canadian immigration you sit all four abilities — listening, reading, writing and speaking. There is no pass or fail; you receive a level per ability.
What is TEF and what does it require? +
Test d’Évaluation de Français, administered by the Paris Île-de-France CCI. The Canada version also covers all four abilities and reports a level per ability, valid for immigration applications.
Can I retake the TCF exam? +
Yes. Retakes are allowed after the waiting period set by your test centre, and you may retake to improve a specific ability. We plan the retake window around your application deadline.
How long does it take to complete a course? +
A1 runs about 60 hours, A2 about 80, B1 about 100 and B2 about 120. At five sessions a week that is roughly six to twelve weeks per level, and fast-track batches compress it further.
Minimum score required to apply for Canada PR? +
CLB 7 across all four abilities — roughly a DELF B2 — is the usual threshold for meaningful points under Express Entry. Higher levels earn more, and CLB 7+ in French also unlocks additional bonus points.
